 GENERAL QUESTIONS

1 – Difference between Live Class and Online Class

[shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”]

Skip the boring classroom lectures! Our friendly program will teach you everything you need to know to be a wise and safe driver using pictures, text and video content.

You can follow our course on the go with our mobile-friendly program.

save $110+ with an online course. It cost about $150 (or more) for a live class versus $40 for an Online Driver’s Ed course and you save the cost and time for commuting. It will cost you only $20 if you are over 18 and just want to follow this online course (without exam) to prepare yourself for the Written test /learner’s permit that is mandatory to everyone.

– With a Live class, you have a schedule to stick to and will have to commute to the class and have someone drive you, wait and pick you up. You cannot miss classes.
– With online Class, you can do it at home or anywhere you please at your own pace and save money

– In a live class, you will have only a final exam of 50 questions at the end and if you miss you will have to take another class.
The instructor will not redo the class if you did not follow what he said.
– With our online Drivers Ed you will have 10 lessons made of several topics. Each topic ends-up with a training quiz. if you miss a training quiz you can return to the topic and study more for free until you pass each quiz. That is to prepare you for the final exam of 50 questions as we make sure you have studied every topic thoroughly. There  is no charge for retaking the exam

– In a Live class, the instructor is there to answer your questions Live. so you have more interaction, but you might also be distracted by other students.
– with an online class, although you may be alone at home or anywhere else, you are not entirely alone. You will have access to forums where you can ask questions, you can email us or you may be able to use the chat room to communicate instantly with an instructor, if available, in case of a problem.

– In a live class, you have to attend on schedule and not be late even if you did not sleep enough
At home, you can make yourself comfortable with studying online and you have 6 months to get your certificate of completion at your own pace.

– In the Live class, you have TO GO there no matter what.
an Online class comes to you – It is like having a pizza delivery…(That you can order while taking the course)
🙂 (and by the way, if you take driving behind-the-wheel lessons with us, we will come to you too- for free!!!)

2 – WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DRIVERS’ ED AND LEARNER’S PERMIT?

  • DRIVER’S EDUCATION ( Driver’s Ed)

[shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”]Driver’s education, driver’s ed, Drivers Ed or driving tuition is a formal class or online program that prepares a new driver to obtain a learner’s permit or driver’s license. Education is intended to supplement the knowledge obtained from government-printed driving handbooks or manuals and prepares students for tests to obtain a driver’s license or learner’s permit. For teens drivers it is meant to educate them as a mean of a replacement for practice behind the wheel, this is why it is important to read the topics and watch the videos especially lessons 4, 5 and 6.

Drivers Ed is mandatory for teens under 18 before applying for their DMV Driving Skill Test at 16 years of age. It may take place in a classroom, in a vehicle, online, or a combination of the above. A teenager does not have to register for Driver’s Ed prior the learner’s permit but he can be doing so at 15 to prepare for it since he/she will need it anyway for passing their driver’s license.

Topics of instruction include traffic code or laws and vehicle operation. Typically, instruction will warn of dangerous conditions in driving such as road conditions, driver impairments, and hazardous weather. Instructional videos may also be shown, demonstrating proper driving strategies and the consequences for not observing the rules. In-car instruction is given to a student in a vehicle by an instructor before and during behind-the-wheel training classes. Our cars are fitted with dual controls, which has pedals or other controls on the passenger side. to allow the instructor to take over controls in case of an emergency.[/shc_shortcode]

4 – ABOUT THIS ONLINE DRIVERS’ ED COURSE 101

When can I start an online Driver’s Ed course in Nevada?

[shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”] You can start by doing this course at 15 years of age to prepare for the learners permit.
You must be 15 1/2 to register for the Learner’s permit to be able to learn driving behind- the wheel as a teenager. Even If you already have your learner’s permit you still have to follow a 30-hour driver’ education course, either in a live class or online to apply for your driver’s license at 16.  However, you do not have to wait  15 1/2 years of age to start a drivers’ ed online class before your learner’s permit if you want. it will help you pass your learner’s permit. The 30-hour drivers’ education is mandatory for teenagers to compensate for the lack of experience in driving. Since you cannot learn from your own mistakes before driving, learning from other people experiences will make you wise.PLEASE READ ALL THE TOPICS,[/shc_shortcode]

Why do I have to respond to identification questions in my profile?
[shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”] This is NOT a survey for your favorite taste. Per the DMV request, the responses you give at the end of the profile are to prove your identity following each quiz. Failure to respond correctly with a 10 percent error margin (1/10) will make you redo the quizzes you missed to identify yourself. You will not be blocked right away to allow you to continue. If your response to a personal question is wrong, the quiz will be recorded with no student ID and you will be asked to redo those quizzes before passing the exam. Failure to respond to personal questions just prior the exam will block you from obtaining your certificate until you redo the quiz you missed. even so, you passed the test.
[/shc_shortcode]

How long is the Driver’s Ed course total learning time?

[shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”]This course consists of 10 lessons with several topics each. The total reading time for the entire course is 30 hours per DMV request (as in live classes). This timing is divided among the topics so the longest topic gets the longest reading time. (1/2 hour to 1 1/2 hour)[/shc_shortcode]

WHY does THE DMV request 30 hours of learning?

[shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”]The DMV is requesting that ALL students MUST read all of the material offered. This is not simply to pass yet “another School test”. The real reason is that there will be a time when driving behind-the-wheel as a driver, and suddenly there will be a split of a second when you will not have the time to guess the answer, read your notes, or even think.

Your subconscious mind will act according to what it learned or experienced. GUESSING THE QUIZ OVER AND OVER will to train your brain but will confuse it on the right answer. Read the topics! (especially lessons 4 and 5)   Being WISE is learning from your mistakes as well as other people experience. Knowledge is the key to compensate for the lack of experience as a young driver. You cannot really learn and remember what you read while doing and re-doing the quizzes by guessing without reading the material  PLEASE BE WISE, READ ALL TOPICS THOROUGHLY, it may save your life someday.[/shc_shortcode]

Why do we have to wait for the timing to end to pass to the next topic?
[shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”]Timing is made to have students reading the material instead of searching the web on unrelated subjects. Please try to spend some time reading the topics. It is obvious that sometimes the timing exceeds the reading time but the 30 hours is imposed by the DMV as in live classes. You cannot really learn while doing and re-doing the quizzes by guessing without reading the material PLEASE BE WISE, READ ALL TOPICS THOROUGHLY, it may save your life someday.[/shc_shortcode]

Why does the timing keep resetting in topics?
[shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”]The timer will reset every time you leave the page even so you are still logged on.
DO NOT FORGET TO CLICK ON THE BUTTON TO MARK THE PAGE AS COMPLETE when the Timer ends.
DO NOT CLICK ON ” next Topic”(it should automatically go to the next page when marking it as “complete”)[/shc_shortcode]

What online drivers ed Course 101 means?
[shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”]In universities courses are usually marked by numbers since they are hard to remember by name. The first number corresponds to study year this course should be taken in, followed by 2 (or 3) course id. Usually, the same subject course has a greater id if they have to be taken in the same year. Therefore lower ids are usually assigned to basic courses. The most basic course would be 100 (first year, introductory course) you may already have some notion of the rules since you passed your learners permit so 101 is used to indicate the very basics in that subject. Course 112 could be the last class of the first year (if there is 1 class per month)  201 should be the first class of the second year.etc  [/shc_shortcode]

What’s your refund policy?

[/shc_shortcode]12 – I already responded to 50 questions when passing my learner’s permit. Do I have to register also for the drivers’ed?

Where can I have a document being notarized?

QUICK ANSWER
To have something notarized, you must bring your documentation to a notary public. Notary publics work at post offices, mail centers, packaging and shipping centers, libraries and legal offices. There are also traveling notary publics who travel to their customers, as well as notary publics who run their private businesses. Notaries who work in post offices and mail centers work limited hours, and many works by appointment only [shc_shortcode class=”shc_mybox”]Notarization of a document legally verifies that the signing of the document was witnessed by a licensed professional. Notarization of documents helps to minimize the chances of potential fraud and identity theft and is a requirement for a wide range of legal documents. Common documents that are subject to notarization include loan documents, wills, deeds, medical documents, living wills, I-9 forms, vehicle titles, power of attorney documents and vehicle titles.
The cost of notarization depends on the specific documents as well as the number of signatures that need to be notarized. Additionally, notary fees vary by state. In general, Postnet charges $5.00 per signature. The time it takes to notarize a document is typically a few minutes, but this also depends on the number of document pages and signatures needed.[/shc_shortcode]
